Agrément Certificate: What It Is
The British Board of Agrément, Bucknalls Lane, Garston, Watford WD25 9DA, is in charge of overseeing these.
Their goal is to evaluate the applicability and quality of novel items and inventions that aren’t covered by performance standards like European (CEN) or British (BSI) standards.
In order to generate reports, the Board works with the Building Research Establishment and other research centers to evaluate, test, and inspect materials and products. The term MOATS (Methods Of Assessment and Test) refers to these reports.
Goods that pass a rigorous inspection in relation to their stated performance are granted an Agrément Certificate.
